ZOO NEIGHBORS

Woodland Park Zoo has been an urban oasis for the community since 1899. Our collection of animals, commitment to sustainability and dedication to wildlife conservation make it a very special place for families to reconnect and recharge. The zoo’s picturesque location on Phinney Ridge, along with continued support from our neighbors, truly sets us apart from other city assets.

We value our relationship with the community and are committed to being a good neighbor. Please check back often to stay current on the zoo’s events, exhibits and projects, especially those of particular interest to the neighborhood.

Next-Door Neighbor ZooTunes Information

Complimentary ZooTunes tickets for next-door neighbors

2017 Information
As a thank you for our neighbors’ ongoing support of Woodland Park Zoo and our mission, the zoo is pleased to offer our next-door neighbors four (4) complimentary adult tickets and four (4) complimentary child (age 12 and under) tickets to ZooTunes in 2017. There are changes to the program this year. Please read directions in entirety for full details.

Please note: ZooTunes is a major fundraiser for the zoo, a non-profit organization. We are unable to make changes to the following policies including extending the boundary of eligible homes, offering additional tickets and/or replacing lost tickets or missed concerts.

Woodland Park Zoo takes pride in providing a great guest experience to all visitors. In order to maintain excellent service and be able to anticipate audience size at concerts, you will now be asked to request specific concerts when you pick up your tickets. Complimentary neighbor tickets are not limited per show. (complimentary neighbor tickets cannot “sell out.”)

Step 1
If you received a mailed notice at your home address, you are considered a next-door neighbor and are eligible for ZooTunes tickets. This notice will be mailed to eligible neighbors in early May.

If you are unsure, click here to see the next-door neighbor map and verify that you are located within the identified two block radius of the zoo. If your home is outside of this boundary (including across the street), we are unable to offer you complimentary ZooTunes tickets. ZooTunes is a major fundraiser for the zoo, a non-profit organization.

Step 2
Visit our ZooTunes page after May 1 for the full concert lineup (neighbor tickets are not available until May 10), and determine the concerts for which you would like to use your complimentary tickets. As a next-door neighbor, you are eligible to receive up to four adult and four child (age 12 and under) tickets total per address.

At the time of pick up, you will be asked to choose the concerts you would like to attend. You must request specific concerts when you pick up your tickets.

Please note that tickets are not exchangeable for later concerts if you miss the concert you originally requested. Please choose your complimentary concerts carefully.

Step 3
Pick up your tickets at Woodland Park Zoo’s West Entrance starting May 10. Tickets will not be mailed.

Starting May 10, you may pick up your tickets during normal zoo operating hours. Please bring your mailed notice, a valid picture ID, a proof of residence if your valid picture ID does not have current address (a utility bill validating your name and address, for example) to the West Entrance Membership Office, located off Phinney Ave. N. between N. 55th Street and N. 56th Street.

A staff member will verify your address, ask you which concert(s) you would like to attend and ask you to sign a form stating you’ve received the tickets on behalf of your household (up to four adult and four child tickets per address, must all be picked up at once). Please keep tickets safe. We are unable to exchange or replace lost or stolen next-door neighbor tickets. We are unable to exchange tickets for missed concerts.

PLEASE NOTE: Gates staff will only be issuing complimentary tickets to those neighbors whose addresses appear on our next-door neighbor address list. Gate associates do not have the ability to alter this list.

If you have any questions or comments, please email zooneighbors@zoo.org
