What are Zoo Adventures for Organized Groups?
Zoo Adventures for organized groups are for groups with 22 or more people. Groups choose the date for their event on a first come, first serve basis. We welcome all types of groups including classrooms, community groups, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, families, birthday parties, nature lovers, animal lovers or anyone who wants to enjoy a Zoo Overnight or Evening Adventure.
If you do not have an organized group of 22 or more you may attend an Individual and Small Groups Zoo Adventure.
Program
Organized groups of 22 or more participants selecting their own night can also choose from any of the program offerings for the year.
All Overnight Adventures include a light pizza dinner, light breakfast, evening and morning guided programs, and zoo re-entry admission in the morning. All Evening Adventures include a light pizza dinner and guided evening program. Prices are per person.
Ages and Chaperones
All children must be at least 7 years old and must be accompanied by adults at a minimum 1:6 ratio of adults to youth.
Hours
Overnight: 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Evening: 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Please note: WPZ opens at 9:30 a.m. If you would like to visit the zoo, your overnight staff will give you a hand stamp to re-enter the zoo at that time.

22-75 participants
Dates
Groups with a minimum of 22 participants, can select their own dates, based on availability.
Offered on every Friday and Saturday night March through November. Other weekday nights may be available based on staff availability.

Payment
$100 non-refundable deposit plus a $2 registration fee is required to book a date (submit check with application). Remaining balance (full payment) and final count for all participants must be received by the zoo a minimum of three (3) weeks in advance of the groups Zoo Adventure date.
Cancellation Policy:
For Zoo Adventures for Organized Groups a minimum of three (3) weeks notice of cancellation is required for a credit or refund. Three (3) weeks notice is also required for change of program date. Woodland Park Zoo reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient enrollment. Should this occur, a credit or refund will be issued. Final payment for your group must be received by the zoo a minimum of three weeks prior to your Zoo Adventure date. Contact the Group Registration Specialist if you want to add last minute attendees.
