Payments, Refunds and Scholarships
The following information applies to all classes, camps and Zoo Adventure programs. For large group Zoo Adventures, please refer to the following page: Zoo Adventures for Large Groups.
Payments for all classes, camps, and small and scout group Zoo Adventure programs must be made in full at the time of registration. If full payment poses a hardship for you, please call 206.548.2424.
Camps and Classes: A minimum of two (2) weeks notice of cancellation is required for a change in program date or a refund or credit of program fees. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds or credits for any changes or cancellations received less than two (2) weeks prior to the program start date.
Zoo Adventures: Refunds are available to participants canceling their registration or moving to another event a minimum of three (3) weeks in advance of the start date of the program. The $100.00 deposit and $5.00 registration fee for Large Group Zoo Adventures is not refundable.
Woodland Park Zoo reserves the right to cancel a program at any time. Should this occur, participants will receive a refund of their full purchase amount.
A scholarship fund has been established to provide financial aid for qualified children and families. If you would like to donate to Woodland Park Zoo's scholarship fund you may do so by emailing the Camps Registrar, calling 206.548.2424 or by filling out a registration form.
To apply for a scholarship please complete the Scholarship Application form and a registration form for the program you wish to attend. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to provide scholarships for Zoo Adventures (overnights).
*Please Note: The deadline to apply for a Summer Camp Scholarship is April 1 of each year. Applicants are notified of a decision by mid-April. If funds remain available after the mid-April awards, additional scholarships may be made available on a case by case basis.
To register by mail, fax or in person, please download the summer camps registration form. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept registrations by phone.
Registration Changes and Cancellations
Need to make changes to or cancel an existing registration? Call 206.548.2424 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. Changes and cancellations cannot be done through our online registration process.
