What is Discovery Passport?

Discovery Passport is an upgrade to the Annual Pass membership. There are a ton of great benefits that come with being a Discovery Passport member that more than pay for the upgrade price.

Why should I become a Discovery Passport member?

Great benefits! For example, there are two member early mornings in the summer where Discovery Passport members can come to the zoo an hour early and watch as the zoo wakes up. You might get to have an up-close and personal encounter with your favorite animal all by yourself! There are many other great benefits of being a Discovery Passport member.

Discovery Passport Benefits

Discovery Passport members receive all the benefits of the Annual Pass, plus:

• Half-price admission for up to five guests per visit per membership (more than $46 in savings on every visit)

• Four one-time-use guest passes (up to $75 value)

• $20 gift card for use on zoo grounds, at zoo gift shops or food service locations

• Four complimentary animal feeding experiences

• Early camp or class registration

• Selected camp or class discounts

• Two scheduled member-only early mornings in the summer

How do I use my Discovery Passport benefits?

Once you purchase your Discovery Passport upgrade, you can pick up you benefit packet at either membership office. Please note your packet will not be mailed to you. It will contain all of your benefits except for the myZoo magazine and wall calendar, which will be mailed to you when the next issue is printed.

Class and camp early registration and specials

The class and camp schedule are updated each quarter ahead of the new schedule. Right now, you can register in advance for the Summer classes and camps.

Early registration available only for current Discovery Passport members only. To redeem, write "Discovery" across the top of the registration page and fax or mail it in (not available for online registration) to Camp and Class Registration, Woodland Park Zoo, 601 N 59th St., Seattle, WA, 98103.
