Protect Tree Kangaroos and Their Habitat
The Tree Kangaroo Conservation Program focuses on tree kangaroos and people living together. We work alongside local landowners in Papua New Guinea to manage the country's first Conservation Area, protecting pristine cloud forest ecosystems and habitat for endangered species including the Matschie’s tree kangaroo.
Your contribution today will support the work of the Tree Kangaroo Conservation Program in Papua New Guinea, implemented by local staff for the benefit of the wildlife and people of YUS. Thank you!
Consider donating in honor of someone’s birthday or special event!
Your contribution will support all of TKCP’s initiatives in Papua New Guinea

TKCP established the YUS Conservation Endowment together with the Woodland Park Zoo and Conservation International. Housed at the Woodland Park Zoo, the endowment provides partial annual funding support for the management and protection of the YUS Conservation Area in perpetuity. We are continuing to build the endowment principle to strengthen long term funding support for conservation efforts in YUS. To contribute to the YUS Conservation Endowment, please designate ‘YUS Conservation Trust’ in the form above.
Contributions to the Tree Kangaroo Conservation Program are accepted through the Woodland Park Zoological Society, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our Tax ID number is 91-6070005. 100% of contributions are used for TKCP’s program operations.
