Summer Camp
Grizzly Bear curricula take youth to the next level of exploration. Each curriculum has a unique theme based on real-world conservation challenges and aligns with Next Generation Science Standards and youth development best practices. Throughout the week campers will get hands-on and go beyond the zoo in understanding wildlife conservation and craft their unique solutions.
*Please note not all curriculums take campers off zoo grounds.

Human beings are often thought of as being apart from nature, as if staying away is the best thing we can do. But that’s impossible—we breathe the same air, drink the same water, and use the same resources as every species on Earth. Join us to discover ways humans can, and always have, coexisted safely and happily alongside wildlife the world over!
My Ultimate Zoo
Have you ever wanted to run your own perfect zoo? Imagine it… Which animals would you protect and care for? What would their habitats be like? How would your guests experience it all? Come engage in a week of explorations into how a professional zoo like ours is run, and imagine what your own zoo would be like!

Cancelation and Modification of Camp Registration
All programs require a $50 non-refundable fee which will not be returned regardless of cancelation or modification date. Below are additional important cutoffs for cancelations or modifications.
- No refunds will be issued after June 1st
- After June 1 at 9:00 a.m., no program fees will be returned in the event of modification or cancellation to your registration. This includes but is not limited to Basic Fees, Non-refundable Fees, and Registration Fees, as well as extended care.
- Modifications and cancelations can be made until June 1.
- No refunds, make-ups, or credits will be issued for missing camp days or weeks due to illness, scheduling conflicts, or violation of camp policies.
