Military Discount

$3 discount for valid US military ID holders and up to six (6) guests, available online and at zoo entrances. Must present valid active duty, veteran, retired, or dependent military ID for entry. This discount is for US military personnel only.


Age Friendly Seattle Gold or FLASH Cards

Available online through Age Friendly Seattle, or at 206.684.0648, Gold Cards are for individuals age 60+ and FLASH Cards are for people with disabilities, age 18-59. Admission fee is 75% off regular admission prices. Gold or FLASH Card required.

Enjoy all the wonder of wild animals and wild places throughout our 92-acre urban oasis.

All tickets (up to 5000 per day) sold on the designated dates will be sold at child admission pricing. Pricing will reflect the child ticket price on the date selected and may fluctuate based on flexible pricing. Once the 5000 tickets are sold, prices will revert to regular admission prices for adults.

A deeply discounted membership for foster and kinship families* or recipients of EBT/Washington Quest, SUN Bucks or WIC assistance (Washington residents only).

Explorer Pass memberships must be purchased in person at the zoo. Both new and renewing Explorer Pass members will need to provide current proof of EBT/SUN Bucks/WIC assistance or foster family or kinship caregiver status for verification** and a valid form of photo ID that matches their verification document.

Please note: This membership cannot be combined with any other discounts. Discover Ticket purchases can be applied toward an Explorer Pass membership on the day of the Discover Ticket visit at the membership desk. All other ticket purchases from previous or day of visits are unable to be applied. Membership is active at the time of purchase.

* Any foster parent or kinship caregiver providing care for a child placed through a dependency action in a Washington state or tribal court and who is in the care and custody of the Department of Children, Youth, and Families, Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, or tribal child welfare agency.

**Acceptable forms of verification include Washington-issued: Washington Quest card (EBT), SUN Bucks card, WIC voucher/card or appointment folder, DSHS kinship caregiver card, DCYF caregiver authorization form, foster caregiver license certificate or ID card.

The $5 Discover Ticket is available for foster and kinship families* or recipients of EBT/Washington Quest, SUN Bucks or WIC assistance. Valid for daytime admission, excludes all other separately ticketed events.

Like our general admission tickets, Discover Ticket can be reserved in advance. You can go to tickets.zoo.org and select the Discover Ticket ticket type to receive the $5 ticket option or come to the zoo to purchase your Discover Ticket.

Limit of six per family, limited to Washington state residents, who have Washington state issued proof of verification.

Valid verification** and photo ID that matches the verification document must be provided along with tickets prior to entry. At least one adult must present verification. If you do not have valid verification and a valid photo ID at entry, you will not permitted to enter the zoo at that time without first upgrading to a full-price general admission ticket.
