We officially cut the ceremonial ribbon to the much-anticipated Forest Trailhead! Thank you to our partners from Tulalip Tribes for their beautiful blessing and to all the community members who made this ceremony possible. We are so thankful to our supporters, members and guests and we can’t wait to see you experience this new home to tree kangaroos, red panda, kea and a variety of reptiles, amphibians and fish.

Many of you have been asking about Bowie the sloth $Many of you have been asking about Bowie the sloth bear during her recovery from surgery to repair a fractured femur in her right thigh. The one-year-old sloth bear is on the mend and her healing is right on track. Animal keepers will continue to monitor Bowie and mom, Kushali, in a non-climbing, off-view habitat for another couple weeks while she heals up. Thank you for all the love! 💕$
