Want to see some new baby pics? The birth and car Want to see some new baby pics?

The birth and care of two western lowland gorillas at Woodland Park Zoo this May have been exciting and fluid with several twists and turns along the way. The family is all together and you can stop by to see them (mornings are great) next time you visit. (Photo 1 and 3: Jamani and baby, Photo 2: Olympia and baby).

A black and white colobus monkey was born on June 15 to mom Mokiki and dad Lewis, marking the first birth of the species at the zoo in 29 years. You can see the new baby colobus monkey with mom Mokiki, dad Lewis and aunt Anapenda in the outdoor section of the Tropical Rain Forest loop.

Lion cubs Zawadi and Kamari now have full access to their outdoor habitat with mom, Ilanga, and dad, Tandie, never far away. The cubs were born January 14, 2026 and are growing more curious and rambunctious every day!

Get the scoop on these cuties and more by visiting zoo.org/animals/zoobabies or our blog link in bio
