Pumpkin Bash presented by Smile Generation
A weekend of fall fun and treats for kids and animals

WHAT:
Woodland Park Zoo will celebrate Halloween with Pumpkin Bash presented by Smile Generation. The weekend will offer a bounty of fun including trick-or-treating around the zoo for kids of all ages, a mascot-led parade, pumpkin displays, and more fun for little goblins and ghosts. Animals such as otters, red panda, penguins, bears, and more will gobble, crunch, smash, and play with pumpkins and other autumn-themed treats. Boomazium will be a hub of excitement, featuring a variety of engaging activities tailored for the youngest visitors. Costumes are encouraged! And, don’t miss out on a live pumpkin carving demonstration on Sunday! Get one free child ticket (12 and under) per each full-priced adult ticket during Pumpkin Bash.
In honor of Día de Muertos, join the zoo in celebrating and remembering the pets and animals who have touched our lives through a special animal ofrenda. Starting October 20, zoo staff will begin constructing the ofrenda at Briar Oak across from the Historic Carousel, and the community is invited to add photos, offerings and tributes to beloved animals who have passed. On October 27 the ofrenda will be unveiled and the zoo will host a celebration filled with fun activities including paper picture frame decorating and themed animal coloring pages, with more activities to be announced. The ofrenda will be accessible to guests during zoo hours through November 2.
