Zoo honors U.S. military and veterans with free admission on Veterans Day, November 11

WHAT:
In honor of those who offer service to their community and country, Woodland Park Zoo extends free admission to all active, retired, reserve, and veteran U.S. military personnel and one guest on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11.
In addition, up to six family members accompanying heroes with valid ID will receive $3 off admission on Veterans Day.
WHEN:
Veterans Day discount is valid Tuesday, November 11, 9:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. with valid service identification.
WHERE:
Admission discounts can be redeemed at the zoo’s West Entrance at 5500 Phinney Ave. N. or South Entrance at 750 N. 50th St., Seattle, WA 98103.
COST:
Veterans Day admission is free to all active, retired, reserve, and veteran U.S. military personnel and one guest. Must show valid service ID to redeem discount.

Year-round Military Discount
Available at any zoo entrance or online: Active, retired, reserve, and veteran U.S. military personnel and up to six guests receive $3 off zoo admission year-round. Military personnel or military guest must show valid military ID.
