TROPICAL RAIN FOREST

Journey from the forest floor to the canopy.

ABOUT THE ExHIBIT

Temporary Exhibit Closures

All walk-through aviaries such as the Wetlands, Conservation Aviary and Savanna Aviary are temporarily closed to protect birds most at risk from exposure to Avian Influenza. The Tropical Rain Forest Dome will remain open at this time as there are currently no birds in the exhibit.

Explore the habitats of the Tropical Rain Forest including Jaguar Cove. Tropical rain forests ring the middle of the planet and host an enormous diversity of plant and animal life. Our Tropical Rain Forest zone mimics the forests of both South America and Africa with outdoor exhibits including lemurs, gorillas, colobus monkeys, and jaguars and an indoor Tropical Rain Forest dome including South American birds, snakes, poison dart frogs, and many other fascinating animals.
