Woodland Park Zoo is creating a long-range facilities plan to guide the next 20 years of amazing animal habitats and extraordinary guest experiences. The community has already shared many ideas with us. Now in this survey, we want to show you some early concepts we are working on and hear your thoughts. We can’t wait for you to see this beautiful new home for endangered tree kangaroos, red panda, kea, reptiles, amphibians and fish!

It's a bittersweet benchmark as we prepare our snowstorm trio for new adventures. The three snow leopard siblings born in May 2024 have now matured enough to begin their separate journeys. Lenny, Phyllis and Raya were born under the Snow Leopard Species Survival Plan, a cooperative breeding program across accredited zoos to help ensure a healthy, self-sustaining population of the species.

Ghost Cat Fan Club (snow leopard fans) are encouraged to come say their final "furwells" by April 29 when Lenny will be the first to move. Phyllis and Raya will also move this year.

The cubs are nearly 2 years old now—an age when they would naturally separate from their mother. They are able to move to different zoos accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums to continue to be ambassadors for their species.

We know you love these three as much as we do, so please stop by the snow leopard habitat on your next visit to wish them good luck! Feline fans can continue to visit snow leopards Marai and Aibek, mom and dad of the siblings, who will continue to live at Woodland Park Zoo 🤍 🖤 ❄️ 🐾
