Sip Happens: Tasting Flight Returns
Tickets go on sale April 17 for zoo’s popular summer wine tasting event

WHAT:
Calling all wine lovers! It’s time to stop and smell the rosé as more than 50 of the finest Northwest wineries take over Woodland Park Zoo at Tasting Flight presented by Alaska Airlines on June 20.
This adults only event is a wine and animal lover’s dream come true! Experience all that Woodland Park Zoo has to offer from 3:30-8:30 p.m. while sipping some of the finest wines in the Northwest; the entire zoo will be open, allowing guests to view the zoo’s exhibits in a 21 and over only environment.
And wine not have even more fun? This wine tasting extravaganza will also feature special animal keeper talks, encounters with ambassador animals, lawn games and more throughout the evening!
Premium ticket holders will enjoy additional benefits, including early entry, a souvenir glass, tote bag and 15 wine tastings. Premium tickets can be purchased online in advance.
And the best part? All ticket sales go toward the exemplary care of the zoo’s animals and wildlife conservation projects in the Pacific Northwest and around the world!

Extra tasting tickets and bottles of wine will be available for purchase; a complimentary wine valet will be available to hold your purchases while you continue to sip and explore the zoo hands-free.
Winter zoo hours: 9:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. daily through April 30; 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. beginning May 1.
