There are a limited number of ADA tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parking

Guests with a state disability placard or license plate may park in the designated area in selected parking lots on a first-come, first-served basis. The closest lot to the concert venue is the Penguin Lot at Phinney Ave. N. and N. 55th St.

ADA parking spots fill up quickly, so guests are also welcome to use the Otter parking lot to drop off individuals with disabilities or anyone unable to walk from the parking area to the venue.

Staff & Volunteers are available to assist with questions and directions at any time.

Location of Seats

The ADA reserved area is located on the West side of the meadow.

  • Please note that chairs are not provided in this section.
  • All chairs are welcome in the ADA section.
  • If you would prefer not to sit in the designated ADA area, you are welcome to sit anywhere on the meadow in a low-backed chair or blanket or in the designated high-back chair area at the back of the meadow.

Our most frequently asked questions

  • Chairs must be low-backed with a height limit of 26” from the ground. Seat height should not exceed 9 inches from the ground
  • All bags, including soft sided coolers, may be no larger than 16 inches in any direction.
  • Food is permitted in non-glass containers only. Factory-sealed non-glass containers are permitted for water and non-alcoholic beverages, such as sparkling water and sodas.
  • Strollers or wagons for transporting children are allowed; wagons, carts, etc. used to haul items are not permitted.
  • All sales are final. Shows happen rain or shine.

Standard Parking

Standard parking in other zoo lots will be available for $10 on the day of the event—no advance purchase required.

No overnight parking is permitted in the zoo lots. Bus/RV parking in Hippo lot only.

Tickets

Concert tickets do not include regular zoo admission. The concert ticket only allows admission to the performance. If you would like to visit the zoo before the concert, you will need to purchase a separate admission ticket at the zoo gates.

Tickets for BECU ZooTunes presented by Carter Subaru are available for purchase online www.zoo.org/zootunes.

Many websites look legitimate but are often resellers selling tickets at inflated prices. In addition, tickets purchased from other sources other than Etix may not be valid. To avoid problems with counterfeit, stolen, or voided tickets, guests should make their purchase through www.zoo.org/zootunes, Etix.com or artist fan websites.

Woodland Park Zoo does not offer returns or exchanges on any ticket purchases. Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of a cancellation, and then tickets are refundable at the original point of purchase only.

If you purchased your tickets directly from Woodland Park Zoo’s online ticketing system, you can reprint your own lost tickets in advance of the show by going to Etix and logging in to your account. If you arrive at zoo gates on the day of your concert without your electronic ticket printed or on your mobile device, please proceed to the Will Call desk at the West Gate with a valid ID and we will be able to confirm your purchase.

Woodland Park Zoo does not sell any tickets to third party ticket distributors and can verify tickets that were purchased only through Etix. Therefore, it is suggested you purchase all your ZooTunes tickets from Woodland Park Zoo through Etix.

If a concert is not sold out, you may purchase tickets online until approximately 8:00 p.m. on the day of the show. Please remember that most concerts end at about 8:30 p.m., so check in advance to make sure there are still tickets available and get here early so you can enjoy most of the show.

The interior line is for ZooTunes ticket holders who have either a valid Zoo membership OR daily admission tickets to the Zoo. You must have either tickets or a membership and may not bring friends with you who are not ticketed.

Members MUST be in the inner line before 4:15pm. After 4:15pm, members will be required to join the general admission outer lines at West and South gates.

The interior line is located inside the West Gate Plaza and forms along the concrete barricade directly across from Guest Services West, next to the Penguin exhibit.

Reserved seating area: Reserved seating ticket holders are assigned seating in provided chairs.

General admission area: Low-backed chairs are allowed (please see graphic below), as are blankets, but high-back chairs over 26” are not allowed. Seat height should not exceed 9 inches from the ground*

*Low-backed chairs. The specific measurements for a chair to qualify as low-backed: approximately 9 inches from the ground to the seat and no more than 26 inches from the top of the chair to the ground.

Space is filled on a first-come, first-served basis so please be considerate! On sold out nights the lawn can become crowded. Please do not reserve more space than you need on the lawn, allowing room for your fellow concertgoers to enjoy the evening. If you have trouble finding a spot, please ask a concert staff member for assistance.

Seating, Standing & Dancing: Please be neighborly to other guests and refrain from conduct that is offensive or physically dangerous. During some concerts, the artists may encourage guests to stand immediately in front of their seats during the entirety of the performance. On those occasions, standing guests shall continue to be respectful of others around them.

Getting In

The main entrance to the concert venue is at the West Gate, located at Phinney & 55th Street. Entry is also available at the South Gate until 6:00 p.m.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. or once the artist has completed their sound check.

Safety first at ZooTunes! To ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, please read our house rules and list of permitted items. For the safety and enjoyment of all, personal possessions will be inspected prior to admittance into the venue.

  • Each ticketed guest is allowed one item (bag or cooler) and one chair or blanket/towel for seating on the meadow.
  • Food is permitted in non-glass containers only.
    • Metal utensils are not permitted.
    • Water and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted in factory sealed, non-glass containers (i.e. sparkling water, sodas, etc.)
    • Baby bottles/formula is allowed in non-glass containers.
  • · The use of reusable water bottles is encouraged. Empty, non-glass, reusable bottles may be refilled inside the venue at one of our Water Stations presented by Carter Subaru.
  • Strollers or wagons for transporting children are allowed; wagons, carts, etc. used to haul items are not permitted.
  • Umbrellas are allowed and may be used on the meadow prior to performances, during intermissions, or during heavy rain only.
  • Trained service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are welcome. Pets, therapy, or emotional-support animals are not permitted.

ZooTunes Tickets may be purchased at Etix.com. There is no longer a ticketing window at the Woodland Park Zoo.

Will Call is at the West Entrance at the membership booth. Will Call opens at 3:30 p.m. and closes at 8:00 p.m. on concert nights. The zoo‘s West Entrance is located at Phinney & 55th Street.

Tickets purchased online will not be held at Will Call automatically. You must print out a copy of your ticket or bring it with you on your mobile device.

Per artist’s requests – No Pro (removable lens) cameras. No audio or video recording is allowed.

Children, two years of age and under, do not require a ticket to attend ZooTunes, provided they sit on the lap of an accompanying adult. Once a child turns three, they will need their own full-priced ticket.

Concerts are rain or shine, so please be prepared for inclement weather. Umbrellas are allowed when it’s raining. ZooTunes happens in rain, heat, and smoke unless otherwise determined by Woodland Park Zoo.

Food and water are permitted at ZooTunes as long as it follows these guidelines:

  • Food is permitted in non-glass containers only.
    • Metal utensils are not permitted.
  • Water is permitted in factory sealed, non-glass containers; other outside beverages are not permitted except for baby bottles/formula.
  • Non-alcoholic, sealed beverages, in original containers (i.e., sparking water, sodas, etc.)
  • The use of reusable water bottles is encouraged. Empty, non-glass, reusable bottles may be refilled inside the venue at one of our Carter Subaru filling stations.

Freshly prepared food made with local ingredients, local craft breweries and Washington wineries, non-alcoholic beverages and sweet, savory and frozen treats will be available for purchase during your ZooTunes concert.
