You must be 21 years or older and have a valid ID to attend this event. Photos of your ID will NOT be accepted. 

What is included with my ticket?

VIP Tickets include early entry, a souvenir glass, a commemorative pin, 15 tasting tickets, access to the exclusive VIP lounge, and admission to all zoo exhibits.

Conservation Partner Tickets include early entry, a souvenir glass, 15 tasting tickets, and admission to all zoo exhibits.

General Admission Tickets include event admission, 10 tasting tickets, and admission to all zoo exhibits.

Designated Driver Tickets include event admission, unlimited soda, and admission to all zoo exhibits. This ticket is intended for guests who will not be consuming alcohol. Tasting tickets will not be sold to guests with this ticket type.

Do I still need to purchase a ticket if I am not drinking?

Yes. OktoBEARfest admission and a valid ID are required for everyone attending the event. We offer a special Designated Driver ticket option for those who will not be drinking at this event.

Where should we enter?

You may enter this event through either the West or South entrance.

Is OktoBEARfest admission available the day of the event?

If the event does not sell out in advance, general admission tickets will be available on the day of the event—while supplies last. However, please note that this event has sold out in advance multiple times.

Will there be food available at the event?

Yes, food will be available for purchase during the event. More details coming soon!

Are the items available for purchase at the event cash only, or do you accept credit cards?

Event admission, tasting glasses, additional tasting tickets, commemorative pins, and tote bags may be purchased using credit/debit cards or Apple Pay only—cash will not be accepted.

Can I bring in food?

Yes, you may bring your own food, reusable water bottles, and unopened soda. However, glass containers are not allowed. OktoBEARfest will also have multiple food options available for purchase.

Is this event raising money for the zoo?

Yes! Proceeds from ticket sales, full pours, food, games, and extra tastings all support Woodland Park Zoo’s exemplary animal care, world-class education programs, and more than 30 local and global conservation initiatives. Regular zoo membership admission does not apply to this event. 

Where do I park? How much does parking cost?

Parking for this event is in the zoo lots located along Phinney Avenue N. and N. 59th Street, and the lot accessible on N. 50th & Fremont Ave. N.  Both entrances will be open for this event.

Pay-for-parking kiosks are located at each lot. Parking is $15 for the day (+ taxes and fees) for parking in any of the Woodland Park Zoo parking lots.

Disabled parking is available in all zoo lots.

If you must park on the streets surrounding the zoo, please be courteous and do not block driveways.

What should I wear?

This is a very casual event and, so dress comfortably and appropriately (rain or shine).

Can I walk anywhere with my beer?

Yes! You may carry your beer anywhere on the Zoo grounds.

What animal exhibits will I be able to visit?

All exhibits will remain open and free to explore until 7:00 p.m., except for Bug World and Tropical Rainforest, which will close at 6:00 p.m.
