Laser therapy is a non-invasive way to help promot Laser therapy is a non-invasive way to help promote healing from injuries, sprains, strains, and stiffness and soreness from old age. From penguins and goats to emus and giraffes, many animals at the zoo receive this laser therapy from licensed veterinary technicians at the zoo.

💗 Say Aww! At just a few months old, this little lion cub already has her fierce down as the Animal Health team does a quick visual check of her mouth, eyes and ears.
🦁 It’s all-hands-on-deck as the team transports anesthetized lion male Tandie back to his home in African Savanna.
🦒 An in-barn procedure with Dave the giraffe was a team effort to say the least. The animal care team, a farrier, exhibits team and even IT folks joined Animal Health staff to make sure Dave’s hoof procedure went smoothly.
