Our amazing gorilla moms-to-be, Olympia and Jamani Our amazing gorilla moms-to-be, Olympia and Jamani, are expecting just 5 days apart! We wanted them to have babies close to the same age so they could grow up together, but for them to get pregnant within days of each other was very exciting. Read up on all the ways their dedicated animal care team is helping them prepare for the births such as managing food preferences, practicing maternal care with dolls, and getting ready for changing dynamics within the family group. With Olympia, due May 19, and Jamani, due May 24 you better read up quickly! 🦍 ❤️ Find the link for the blog in our profile or at blog.zoo.org.
